Getting There:

Please contact us to arrange pick up from Moi International Airport in Mombasa or from the Diani airstrip. Alternatively, many taxis are also available from Moi International Airport, and rates can be negotiated. From Nairobi by Air: There are daily flights from Jomo Kenyatta International Airport in Nairobi to Moi International Airport in Mombasa. Alternatively, you can fly from Wilson airport in Nairobi directly to the Diani airstrip, thereby avoiding the traffic and potential delays in Mombasa town and at the ferry! From Nairobi by Road: Take the A109 (Mombasa Road) towards Mombasa. The drive is 500 km to Mombasa. Although the 100 km stretch after Nairobi can be a little uncomfortable, the remainder of the drive is quite smooth. A new road is currently being built. Soon after Moi International Airport in Mombasa, the A109 crosses the bridge and becomes Jomo Kenyatta Ave as it enters the town of Mombasa island. Once in Mombasa town, see below. From Mombasa town: Follow Jomo Kenyatta Ave south, past the Akamba bus station to Digo Road / Nyerere Ave. Turn right onto Digo Road / Nyerere Ave and drive 2 km to the ferry (aka Likoni ferry). You can also take a taxi to the ferry. Depending on traffic, you may have to wait up to 30 minutes to an hour for the ferry. Once you have crossed the ferry on to the south coast, drive approximately 30 km on the Diani-Ukunda road to Ukunda junction. Turn left at Ukunda junction and drive a further 2 km to Diani Road. Turn left at the T-junction on to Diani road. Nearest airstrip: Diani Airstrip, located approximately 5 km from Bahari Dhow Beach Villas. Nearest international airport: Moi International Airport in Mombasa, 50 km from Bahari Dhow Beach Villas. Nearest ferry service: Kenya Ferry Service, 35 km from Bahari Dhow Beach Villas.
