By Road Sand Island Cottages, Tiwi, are only 17.5kms south of Mombasa across the Likoni Ferry on the main Mombasa to Diani highway. Signposted from the main road, from here it is only a short 3.5kms to the cottages and beach. Bus to Diani; From here taxis are readily available for the short journey to Sand Island Beach Cottages. By Air Fly to Moi International Airport, Mombasa. Taxis and cars for hire are available from the airport.
