River Lodge - Alliance Naro Moru

Location;

180km from Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, Nairobi 2-3 hours drive.

Accommodation Comprises:

12 standard, 10 superior, 12 deluxe, 7 cottages, 5 country homes, bunkhouses and a campsite.  Rooms feature twin beds, private bathrooms and shower in most.  Deluxe have a fireplace and balcony.  Interconnecting rooms are available, while cottages have fully equipped kitchens.  Check out time is 10.00am.

Restaurants:

Kirinyaga Restaurant – English breakfast is served from 7.00am to 10.ooam  Lunch from 12.30pm to 2.30pm, children's dinner from 6.00pm to 7.00pm and dinner from 7.30pm to 9.30pm.

Nelion Restaurant – A la Carte snacks are available from 11.00am to 6.00pm.  Table d'hote, lunch is served from 12.30pm to 2.30pm and dinner from 7.30pm to 9.30pm.

Bars

Pt. Lenana – Open from 8.00am to 11.00pm.

Pool Bar – Open between 9.00apm to  6.00pm.

Conference Rooms:

Makutano – Offers seating for 120 people theatre style, 90 people classroom style and 40 people in a round table.

Mt. Kenya – Offers seating 60 people theatre style, 45 people classroom style, and 25 people in a round table.

Boardroom – Seating 10 people.

Outdoor Challenge Course – A team training facility is available.

Room Service – Available from 7.00am to 11.00pm.

Beauty – Massages & Hair Salon available.

Shops – There is 1 shop open daily at various times throughout the day.

Sports – Includes sauna, squash court, pool table, table tennis, 2 tennis courts, bird watching trout fishing, horseback riding, nature trail along the river, mountain climbing and hiking.

Golf – Available at the nearby Nanyuki Golf Course.

Swimming Pool – There is an outdoor deck-level swimming pool.Pool towels are available at the pool deck.

Entertainment – The lodge has satellite TV, video shows.

Laundry – Please complete the laundry list in your room.  A steward will arrange for your clothes to be laundered.
